Dedicated umpires keep our game alive! Train to become a competent, paid umpire with Geelong Central Netball Association (GCNA).
It's never too early (or too late) to train as an umpire with our Trainee Umpiring Program at GCNA. Plus, you get paid! GCNA umpires must be 12 years or older with the following steps completed:
Be a current registered Netball Victoria member.
Read, learn and complete the Rules of Netball course.
Enrol and complete Foundations Umpire Education Course (cost applicable).
Netball Victoria offers great 'UIF Introduction to Umpiring' workshops, some taking place over the next few months:
